I was disgusted by the CNBC one... That is piss poor reporting by any standards... Shameful...

And it didn't mention dates of a phone call...or even a phone call...

It's the content of the article, not any perceived bias that's important. My point was that there were literally thousands of articles on Trump's latest presidential foot in the mouth glitch. Whether those articles contained bias wasn't in your question and so long as they are truthful are a completely irrelevant position.

And let me ask you something, did Blade Runners' explanation sound more unbiased to your ideological eardrums? So do a google search and verify what he says. My point is that what we perceive to be unbiased is simply the bias we trust and want to hear not necessarily the unbiased truth...

Here is one where Erdogan is speaking about the call...no reporting at all. If you don't trust what Erdogan has to say go back to Fox News...

Thousands and thousands... And yet the OP neglected to post a source and later admitted to not being familiar with the content... Which was my point....

Whether they contain bias is of great concern... As many of them speculate as to why he made the decision without offering any facts to support that speculation...

Blade did not address my query...
His article was partial and (I believe) without a link....

I agree concerning bias vs non-bias...

Here is what I have pieced together so far...(please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong or missing information)

1. Trump and Edagorn spoke earlier in the week... One of the issues discussed was Turkey planning an offensive in Syria against the Kurds...

2. Trump decided to remove a number of military personnel from the area that Turkey intends to hit... They are a small part of the American forces in Syria... The rest will stay where they are...

3. These personnel are there for the purposes of training the Kurds (in the use of all the lovely military ordinance your nation has so kindly supplied them with)...

4. These personnel are not being called home... Merely shifted to a safer part of Syria... This may change in the future as Trump is intent on removing America from these pointless conflicts...

5. The point of equipping and training the Kurds was so that they could fight their own battles....

If Turkey initiates a strike America has two options... Pull back or full out war...

Seems to me that it was just a few short weeks ago that everyone was screaming about the possibility of a war with Iran...

Edagorn was polite enough to issue a friendly heads up... Allowing the US to remove personnel from the area...I understand this to be quite normal between nations that don't wish war with each other... I believe America did this with Russia when retaliating against Assad... One should think to be grateful...

What would you have Trump do if Turkey attacks the Kurds?
Draw a line in the sand

This appears to confirm my findings...

In don't particularly care for FOX... I like Tucker..But he is an opinion piece...Not news...

The Five occasionally made me laugh... Then Juan and Jessie ruined it with their bickering...

If one takes an article and removes all supposition and colorful adjectives, one might stumble upon a fact or two... Not always though.. The bar is pretty low these days...

We are involved with dozens of partners and allies in Syria, we have major intelligence experts and partner intelligence services involved. No matter what Trump heard from Erdogan he would have some major intelligence briefings from state departments, intelligence, and allies.

No president should ever make a call to a dictator character like Erdogan, Kim Jong Un, or Putin, and arrive at decisions based on anything these people want or recommend. In fact it would be safest to say that whatever they want would be the exact opposite of what he should be doing.

Our closest allies in that part of the world are not the Israelis or the Turks, they are the Kurds who have stood steadfastly by us since Papa Bush launched Oil War One. This is a betrayal that is inexcusable and has been denounced by republicans and democrats alike. To figure out the driving factor in this monumental act of treacherous buffoonery one need only look to Istanbul for the answer, because now the driving factor of the relationship the US has with Turkey lies in Istanbul, it is not common defense against Russia, and it matters more to the Idiot Pumpkinfuhrer than the sacrifice and lives of our service members or our allies. It matters more than controlling our enemy the Russians or containing ISIL. You see something of monumental importance lies in Istanbul; Trump tower.

I don't care what any body else has to say. trump acted on his own against the Pentagon and stabbed the Kurds in the back. We the United States of America do not abandon our allies in favor of those who would destroy them.

Not unless there is a real estate deal involved, then all bets are off.

He hasn't done anything yet. It was the pentagon who wanted to relocate the 50 or so who recently were moved to avoid crossfire. The Trump hating media is spinning this WAY off base!

All bets have been off since Trump won. We've put up with BS, lies and liberal tantrums for 3 years and now we will deconstruct Democrat leadership like were doing to the Republicans.

Prepare for a Republican House, Senate, Presidency and Trump to confirm at least 1 and possibly 2 Supreme Court justices.

Have a nice day.
