I knew a guy like you. I worked with his wife and we were of opposing parties as was he. She and I had a friendly back and forth banter about it. Funny thing is I never brought politics up but I did correct what they got wrong from listening to their garbage.
Bottom line is this guy thought like his wife and he and I went fishing often and he would bring up politics, he was on one side, I was one the other. I brought up stuff and challenged him to check out my statements which he did and didn't care.
