The conservative commentator George Will wants to "clear the ground and remove this awful presence from our lives."
Conservative commentator George Will wants President Donald Trump out of the picture, even if that means a Democrat wins next year’s presidential election.
Asked if conservatives would be better served by a Trump defeat, Will replied: “Yes, yes and yes. There’s no question about that.”
He also said such an outcome would lead to a battle for new ideas on the right.

“But first, we have to clear the ground and remove this awful presence from our lives,” he said.
Will left the Republican Party in 2016 rather than support Trump, arguing at the time that the best thing for the conservative movement would’ve been a landslide victory by Hillary Clinton. He has only grown more critical of Trump and the Republican Party since then.

“It’s become a cult ― it’s become a cult because of an absence of ideas,” Will said on MSNBC in June. “Because they’ve jettisoned the ideas.”
In another interview over the summer, he warned the GOP that young voters now consider Republicans to be “the dumb party.”

Georgie was never a conservative, he always had an eye out for " who's winning" and that would be his choice for that day. I think George is getting to that point where many of them Who are getting older and don't hold the public attention any more start getting desperate so will say anything to get a few line in a
Fake news rag or wherever. Georgie is ok, just addled.

What a surprise! angry voices from the clown car of the Trump cult denigrate anyone critical of their illustrious pumpkinfuhrer. Even a decades long proven true conservative.

In the case of George F. Will, "conservative" = "classical liberal who will shortly be purged after the Socialists take power."

Just maybe when the President wins by one pf the biggest landslides in history and we take back the house you will get a clue. I don't mean the type of clue that will get you thinking in the right state of mind. That will never happen but you just realize very few think like you and the ones that do most have been singled out and are watched 24/7. With Trump doing such a great job the Republicans will also take back the house. Going from the worst president to the best president America is done with the party of Castro. Instead of accomplishing anything the last two years your party has shown America just who you are. A bunch of criminal crazed Socialist trying to do away with our freedoms and everybody but the bottom of the food chain government dependence have figured that out. It must suck being you.

The only idea Trump has jettisoned is the idea of making campaign promises and not even trying to keep them. George Will is NOT a conservative and he is certainly not an objective and honest "journalist," if I could call him a journalist at all. The only cult is the one he is in, that Cult of Trump Haters.

Will is not being critical of Trump, he is promoting the idea of over throw at all costs. Much, much different.

George Will is a "has been" elitist who thinks he is intellectually superior to most others in the DC swamp! Hates being irrelevant and blames Trump!
