What I also see is that it is not the "Democrat" debate, but shown on the back drop as the "Democratic" debate. Once again the leftists can't even get that right. Democrat is the "a member of the Democrat Party",while Democratic is "relating to or supporting democracy or its principles". A group VS a position! All parties are suppose to support our Republic, but when a party can't even get their name correct on a debate why would anyone believe they would fly the flag of the Republic for witch they are suppose to stand for?

It's about the symbolism the Flag stands for, the REPUBLIC. A background motif isn't the same AT ALL !!! Guess you lefties won't mind a bit if this IMPORTANT SYMBOL is pushed to the side !
Sorry....but I don't need a constant reminder of where I live or what the flag stands for. Especially the way the right uses the flag as a cudgel. That's all that's going on here on this thread.

The whole stage looks like a flag. How much more red, white, and blue could the debaters be swaddled in?
It doesn’t look like a flag.
There doesn’t have to be a flag to demonstrate patriotism but this lowly bunch is competing to become the next president of the United States. It is not wrong to question this and shows a lack of class on their part that they haven’t had one in 3 debates. No one needs a flag to remind them of where they live but it is the symbol of our country.

Where were the flags? There voting base don't give a rat's ass about the flag. Just give them a list of what you are willing to give them for their vote. Free this and free that. It doesn't even matter if you don't get it They will forget and vote for you next time any way. What other type of people would vote for failed policies and face it that is all their policies. I'm sure all those democrats just love all the illegals living in cardboard boxes in their front yard and they don't even mind the junkies as long as they share.

You a flag burner ?
Nope, I just don't jump to the conclusion that no flag means un-patriotic. Just like I don't jump to the conclusion that wrapping oneself in the flag in patriotic.
Like I said, and you just proved my point, the right uses the flag as a cudgel.
