The Left claims that Americans have no business possessing military style weapons. Do I recall correctly that one of the Scandinavian nations issues a military style weapons and ammo to all serviceable age men to keep in their residence? The purpose being that they comprise their National Guard.

Finally...finally...finally, we have a smart politician not afraid to take a stand on removing crowd-killing weapons from places where law-abiding American live and returning them to the battlefield where trained military personnel can use them to help us not to hurt us. If we are not afraid of the opinion of the NRA, most of us could agree that these weapons do not belong on the streets of America. Our president seems more interested in removing vaping tools from the streets of America. Of course, vaping can kill only one person at a time...the user. While the AR-15s and AK-46s can kill hundreds of innocent people in a metter of minutes. I doubt that the right to bear arms included the right to slaughter as many people as you can on a sunny afternoon.

You might recall that in America we have a well regulated militia which is necessary to the security of a free state. Citizens are allowed to own a firearm for self protection or self defense. The citizen use of weapons for self protection or self defense should be closely regulated to insure the safety of all Americans.

It is a tightly regulated option in Switzerland often referenced by gun nuts in the US, in reality if we adopted Swiss gun laws here most would lose their minds.
