We have done enough of going around the world trying to establish democracy for people who do not know what democracy is. We do not want to get into a position of having to support the government in Hong Kong. China will take over Hong Kong in time and kill their golden goose and there is nothing we can do about it, or should do about it. Again, we do not have a dog in the fight.

We should help Venezuela, who have the Chinese involved in propping up the Maduro regime, before we help Hong Kong. The time to help them was 20 years ago, and overruled by the stupid UN

I think that is interesting, that a former British Colony turns to US for help first.

I also that that the people of Hong Kong should apply for refugee status in Briton, Briton should accept them, and the people of Hong Kong should leave behind only scorched earth.

There has been an interesting development with regard to Hong Kong, that is as follows.

The Putin puppet Orientalist Alexander Mercouris the editor of the Duran has switched sides and is claiming that, in his view the Hong Kong Chief Executive Carrie Lam has a substantial part of her support team plugging up the demonstrations asking for her resignation.

Her resignation would be a serious problum for China.

It's not often Alexander gets it wrong so when he does you better make the most of it.

He's wrong, !! and I'm making the most of it with your post right here on OPP.

Congratulations, your part of a winning pronouncement.

I will now explain the real reason why the Chinese Government are waiting it out, and lovingly supporting Carrie Lam, you can't make this stuff up.

The demonstrations are cementing Xi Jinping's home base with reinforcements.

I'm iffy about that, here's why. Remember in the Paris Accord China didn't have to pay until 2035? Remember that date. China wants total world domination and it seems 2035 is their endgame. The problem, someone else wants total world domination, no not Russia they are as irrelevant as anyone who can't handle a gun. Muzzies or Muslims. After they've been fighting awhile it may be WWIII the US sweeps in and cleans up. So do we want to intrude? I'm waiting to see what unfolds. At present I'm like why not.
