every election a democrat will talk gun control, and right away you republicans say that they want to take away the second amendment. but not once has a democrat wiped out the second amendment or even passed any real gun control laws. it`s called saying what people want to hear to get elected. if democrats wanted the second amendment gone they would have tried to do it, but they never had because they don`t want it gone.

Wrong again clueless. Look at some of the gun laws passed in NY, California, or N.J.. Bill Clinton instituted an assault weapons ban, that of course didn't work because most idiot liberals don't know what an assault weapon is. They do want it gone. Damn you are dumb. they were just afraid it would cost them votes. That's exactly why they propagandize every mass shooting and never talk about the much larger gun/homicide rates in the inner cities.
