What does it tell you???...That means he either bought a gun in a Black Market or stole it from somebody else...In any case, like i have been saying ...If somebody wants to kill you,he will find a way to do it!!!...This murderer just proved my theory...What we need to do is to go after Black Market gun sales...Congress needs to think about that too, besides background checks...

The black market gun sales are usually in large cities like New York, Chicago, Baltimore and places like that not usually from the smaller cities. Cops can't be everywhere and in smaller cities the cops know more about what is going on whereas in larger cities they can't cover them as well as they can small cities. I would imagine that if a study were to be done there would be a good cop to population ratio that would show up and anything above that ratio would mean that police surveillance would go down and crime would increase.

I live in a city about 80 miles from Chicago and I am sure that there is a black market here because of our close proximity to Chicago as well as a growing black and Hispanic population and we also have a fair size Italian population. The Italians hate the blacks and Hispanics hate the blacks and the blacks hate both the Italians and the Hispanics. This all makes for a real good black market to deal guns in this city of about 150,000 people as of 2016.

This is another case where I hate being right. Laws are only obeyed by law abiding and sane citizens, and ignored by criminals and the mentally ill. We can NOT legislate our way out of this violence epidemic.

There are just too many people who are for having & keeping guns.
Most of them stand in the way of ever coming up with a working solution to the problems guns pose to Us.

If those that want to keep there guns cannot come up with an livable answer.
All you really here so loud & clean is what they would do if some one came for their guns
Some one else may provide an answer they wont like.

The cost of the damage done with guns is a heavy price for the general public to pay for.
Some how the public that wants to have & keep their guns needs to see that there are just too many guns in the wrong hands.
A logical starting place is to find out who has guns & those that have access to guns.

At this time there are too many loop holes about who has guns & who should not have them.
So how do we find out that information?

This is directed at those that make guns, sell guns, buy guns of have guns.
The should be no loop holes.

The price of miss use of guns is a stiff price in death & physical harm to be paid by the general public.
So major part of the cost for some one to have guns is picked up by the general public.
This is an issue in dire need of finding a solution.

I say with rights there are obligations.
No who should be a part of paying for those obligations?
As a member of the none gun owning group I think it is unfair for individuals of tax paying public to have to pick up major cost coming from gun miss use.

As an individual I can only complain. But for far seem individuals of the legal & insurance industries who are now a connected part of the recover from that miss use there are ways to lighten the cost of those groups by sharing cost with other involved groups.
Some day one of those individuals in one of those groups will see a connection & provide a answer.

Going after more money will always draw interest.
If a little old man can see a way to go after money.
Think what a lawyer or insurance person can think up.

They are no going to have to take the guns away.
They will find a way to make you want to give them up.

I may just have to share my thoughts in different channels.

He failed the background check because he lied on Federal form 4473, a federal felony.

It seems to be too much trouble for the ATF to enforce the laws on the books.

Had our federal government ENFOCED the LAWS that we have given them,

these killings would not have happened.

OK, It isn't the ATF that puts people in prison, it is the prosecuting attorney, and When I lived in Wilmington DE. I would read the paper or go online to see where criminals with multiple firearm charges were filed in multiple crimes at different times were still on the streets. The system drops gun charges or refuses to prosecute those charges. If there is no extream penalty for using a gun in a crime or carrying an illegal firearm there is no deterrent to do so and will continue. We don't need more laws, we need to prosecute the criminals to the furthest extent of the existing laws already on the books.!!!!!!!!!!!
