Thank God we have, in Trump, a man who is well versed in reading and comprehending, complicated contracts, and negotiating for favorable positions.

No and I have no problem subsidizing the small independent farmers so don’t even say that garbage. My problem is the commercial farmers are getting most of the farm subsidies.
But I have a problem with Trump creating a crisis then pays off the farmers for a self inflicted problem using socialism.
Now farm

Now again you miss the basis of the topic and you love farm subsidies and that is socialism. So Trump creates a crisis and uses socialism to pay off the farmers.

Oh I find your comment again lacking any common sense not allowing a socialist country like China to hose us. So Trump levies Tariffs tells his base that China is paying the tariffs when the American consumer is paying in the form of higher cost for China imports but its difficult for a Trump supporters to grasp that concept. Now as far as China being socialist they are a form of socialism but they are communist but also they have private enterprise and markets that dominate their daily life.

But China has socialism just like Trump when he gives away our tax dollars to the commercial farmers for a crisis Trump created with his tariffs that created a world wide trade war.

So the we the people comment, you people have no problem with Trump tariffs creating a world wide trade war increasing the trade deficit from$628 billion to $864 billion using a socialist program to pay off farmers so the hosing got worse.
Not to mention the tariffs have increased inflation.

I fully agree. Trump is merely leveling the playing field which previous administrations allowed to become so unfair to America over many decades.

Yup the level is tilted but the Trump trade policies have accomplished a few things. Inflation is rising, it created a tax on American people who now pay more money for goods imported from China. (TRUMP TELLS HIS SUPPORTERS CHINA IS PAYING NOT TRUE)

And the Trump tariffs on China has increased the trade imbalance from $628 billion to over $850 billion. So how is that working for the you.

You don't think China is feeling the tariffs?

You don't care that China has been unfair in trade?

They just whine. China’s been screwing us for decades. Never heard any of the libs complain. Previous do nothing administrations put Trump in this position. I’m no fan of tariffs but I’m even less a fan of China. We will win this unless the wimps take over.

It's a fight and things look rough sometimes during the fight.

Yes, if the wimps do take over, they'll ruin us.

A Democratic Socialist would have China salivating.

We can't say with certainty that Obama didn't make a international trade deal.

Obama most probably got a little cream off the top of Hezbollah smuggling over one Billion dollars worth of cocaine across our southern border.

After all, Obama gave iIntelligence Officials and the DOJ "stand down orders" knowing terrorists were traversing our borders.

And DHS and CBP.

Your figures are not accurate. When Obama came into office, the trade deficit was $503,583. When he left office it was $789, 354. In 2018 it was $793, 410. As of June of this year, it was $433,493. So if this figure winds up being half what it will be for 2019, it will wind up being $866,986. That is a $73,576 increase. While Obama's increase was $241,900.

But under both Clinton and G W, it was even higher. G W had one year as high as $868, 296. Clinton also topped the $800,000s. I don't have that figure at my fingertips.

So you are correct that it has increased. You are wrong about the amount it increased. And talking about the trade deficit of Trump and Obama just reveals how poorly Obama was doing in the trade war.

Trump increase--$73,576. Over 3 years.
Obama increase--$241,909. Over 4 years.
If you go by the increase per year, Trump's increase is $21,192/yr and Obama's increase is $60,226/yr. So again, the trade war was worse under Obama.

Brazil does not produce a fraction of the soy we do. All the other countries in the world combined do not produce the amount of soy we do. Try again!
