Actually, Gephardt's letter was a confirmation of what I had been experiencing for a few years prior to receiving it... nastiness and sarcasm from people in the Democratic party even back then because I did not agree with them, etc. I made my decision based upon what was being written at the time in the websites of the DSAUSA and the CPUSA, which came up when I entered Gephardt's name in the search engine. The DSAUSA did brag about having made significant inroads into the Democratic Party. That's the Democratic Socialist Party United States of America. This, too, was confirmed to me back then when a friend in Los Angeles asked me to attend a meeting of the "Progressive" Democrats. Being open minded, I went to the meeting to see what it was all about, but left soon afterwards when I discovered that it was a front for the Socialist Party. There were also speakers from the Communist Party in attendance. Today, we are seeing open support of Socialism within the Democratic Party so I feel that I was correct in my decision. We have also seen people in the Democratic Party who were mentored by Communists. Neither Socialism nor Communism are appropriate in the United States, since neither of those parties are about liberty and freedom.

I have friends who are Democrats and I have friends who are Republican. Not all Democrats are Socialists. My friends who are Democrat also feel the way that I do and are very disappointed in the path that the Democratic Party has taken. I would say that they are more Center Moderates. Since I respect their privacy and will not give their names, I cannot show you Democratic friends whose beliefs are more centrally moderate. This site contains videos of thousands of people from all walks of life... African American, Caucasian, Hispanic, Native American, Asian, Christian and Jewish, Straight and Gay. I have friends and acquaintances within all of these communities. In fact, I understand that this site was started by a young gay man from NYC who was a Liberal, which I found to be quite astounding since so many people within the LGBT Community seemed to be espousing Socialism and even Communism to a degree over the years. Nonetheless, there are many people throughout the country who have been waking up to what has been going on, so it is certainly not "lying propaganda." Socialists and Communists have been revealing themselves for quite some time and this website contains many videos from people who illustrate that fact.

No, that is an over-exaggeration, we use few social programs yes, and they have helped millions, especially the elderly, sick and our vets, thanks to these programs. To have social programs, it does not equate to believing in socialism, two very different agendas. But this neo right once again is trying to plant the seed of fear and suspicion, pointing fingers and accusations and promoting discourse and divide. What do you think their game plan is here? Do you see it as the betterment of our country? Not likely, for them, it is all about control. The best thing we can do at this point is to get rid of parties altogether. Therefore, in my opinion, it certainly is propaganda, it is false, only there to persuade and influance.
