I think that we need more psychiatric hospitals that have outpatient services to treat people before they abandon life to live on the streets. Plus, not all homeless people have mental disorders. Some are there to escape worse conditions at home. Some have fallen into hard times and still others are there because of events they could not foresee or tragedy like a sudden death of the primary bread earner. Under Obama the majority of people were one paycheck away from the streets. I think we need to address these people before we consider clothing, feeding, and housing illegals.

Psychiatrist isn't the answer to the homelessness situation, psychiatry drugs contributed to the problem, not the solution.

People's have been sexually violated, mentally and psychologically abused and traumatized by some life events.

The people who are paid, educated or trained to service this population is unqualified and add insult to injury. PTS is a factor, and other social conditions, and dysfunctional toxic situations.

Relationships, intimacy, sexual and family, all are factors not address in this population.

In order to find the most effective respond, you have to address the underlining problem.

Homelessness and mental disorder is big, big business and profits, and put those who can help in an advantage position. It also opens the door to sexual abuse, and Homosexual solicitation.

The current social structure can't address the situation, and they're don't care, as long as they are living off the backs of the unfortunate ones.

Everything is by design and planning, and the homeless population and mental disorder are walking time bombs.

Injustice is a factor as well, and gang stalking, and mind control community and government contructs terror programming and indoctrination.

You can't impose homosexuality on a person, community and expect the person or individual to be nomral and not experience mental disorder conditions.

People are made to have mental health problems, and are subject to committing sucide, by design. In mental wards, the people are sexually violated and abused by psychiatry and health practitioner.

Divvy truth:

Combine your post with mine and I see a solution forming that harks back to the beginning.

the underlying problem is that lower functioning ppl need an Insulating cocoon and/or medical environment neither they nor their guardians can afford.

Time to start saving lives. Of the ppl these individuals harm: the public.

Either that or load these ghost ships floating in the Atlantic with fools.

They ARE walking time bombs.

PPL who as a population won't help themselves nor follow the rules of society. Living on Venice Beach or in downtown Los Angeles won't help them.

if you feel this is inhuman, view the funerals of El Paso and Dayton spree victims online.

there IS a social cost to the people living unaccountable within the framework of a larger social construct.

death and injustice. Time to stop the cycle.

I would say ..Yes...Most homeless people have some kind of psychiatric problems...I think building more of these hospitals will help with homeless problems and get them off the streets and in place where they can eat 3 meals a day,get meds and sleep in beds and not on the streets It will be safe for them and even safer for us......Plus we can clean up the streets and make them safe again for the rest of us!!!

Santa Monica and Venice are like open air insane asylums, and I am not exaggerating in the slightest, running the gamut from a guy who insists he wrote the Bible and the Catholics stole three of his books to people who scream obscenities at random passersby and threaten to murder them.

Couple that with multitudes of shabby meth heads, and migrants from L.A.'s Skid Row, the two adjoining beach towns have allowed things to get much too far out of hand for any even moderately fast fix.
