I’m afraid I’m very doubtful. I hate that because when you can not trust or believe in any part of your government, it’s a sad day,
The sadness is in how we are so divided in how we view our government as it is now.
Too many hang on to the two party system that has been used to divide us & keep us divided.
This is like a cancer that we all fuel the growth of.
There is a never ending stream of hate for the other party.
This has ended in a distrust in each of us against the other.
So Carol I want to wish you to have a great day.
We differ on issues, but that should not be looked at as being sad.
Each day we both face situations much the same way.
We have the choice of accepting each other as a belonging individual.
We can view this as an obligation we have to each other.
The sadness is that we don't always feel or show our acceptances of each other.
The sadness should not be used as a reason to divide our self over the basic issues we face over life.
We are all in this together & need the strength of each other to carry out our personal obligations needed to having a livable society.
The sadness is do to the issues of the ever increasing issues we all face every day.
Issues for the most part we leave to others. (Government)
We can not or should not choose sides in how we face these issues.
If we wish to have a United States of America.
It is being united as individuals that is our obligation.
That means putting aside many of our personal views on issues.
We need to look for agreement & put aside making big issues that divide us.
Never forgetting that we need to share space with each other.
Space that has become crowded as there is more of us.
So Carol if we can not find room for others.
There may not be room for one or both of us.
We need to live with the idea that the world is a better place because of us.
So on that point I wish you to Have A Happy Day.
