I watched the video of Biden telling the story. What struck me was his passion in telling the story. The moral certitude of his manor. That is fine. The problem with that is, when you use morality and passion to make your point, you had better have your facts straight. It is different if you are joking around or being sarcastic.

I picture in my mind Biden going head to head with Trump. Biden using that same passion and moral superiority against Trump, but having his facts all wrong. So far I have not seen Biden use that same moral passion in his debates with his Democratic Brothers and Sisters.

So Joe's passion outweighs his lies? That's what people will take away when the media posts it that way..passion outweighs the truth, but the people who trust their televisions don't realize it.

Is the horse on your profile a Clydesdale or a Gypsy Vanner, hard to tell from a pic size wise! Gorgeous!!

Thank you! The horse is a Gypsy Vanner. Short, muscular, and as calm as summer …. beautiful!!!! His feathers grow daily, one day he will look like, Roadsweeper of the Lion King family.

Interesting. I suppose it becomes boring at some point. It doesn't for me.

Presidential hopeful, Joe Biden, is on the defensive after mistelling a story about a heroic Navy captain. He got 7 things wrong in the space of 3 minutes! And then he said it didn't matter - he got the "essence" of the story right!

Snip from the article:

"According to the Washington Post, who spoke to more than a dozen military and campaign sources, "Biden got the time period, the location, the heroic act, the type of medal, the military branch and the rank of the recipient, as well as his own role in the ceremony" wrong....The paper concluded that the 76-year-old former vice president had in fact conflated three different stories, including one in which he actually "did pin a medal" on a heartbroken soldier, Army Staff Sgt. Chad Workman, who didn’t believe he deserved the award.”

Here's what really happened:

Biden visited Kunar province in 2008 as a U.S. senator, not as vice president. The service member who performed the celebrated rescue that Biden described was a 20-year-old Army specialist, not a much older Navy captain. And that soldier, Kyle J. White, never had a Silver Star, or any other medal, pinned on him by Biden. At a White House ceremony six years after Biden’s visit, White stood at attention as President Barack Obama placed a Medal of Honor, the nation’s highest award for valor, around his neck.

Why should he say he is sorry? Did Hillary apologies about landing under fire in Bosnia. I don't recall obama apologizing and he lied to our face every time he opened his mouth. Lying is what politicians do and democrats have it down to a science. If one did tell the truth then it would be deceitful. No apology needed or expected.

I'm not seeing it. But you seem to know as much as CNN so why don't you make us a list of all Trump's 'fabricating'. Or to put it a different way put up or shut up.

John Kerry did the same thing about his experience in Vietnam.
Narrated events that did not happen to impress his Vietnam lies.

All democrats are sick of LIES. No integrity. NADA!!

That would be an easy gaff to defend.

I would suggest that: Being in North Korea is being in China, by proxy.

Biden reminds me of an elderly gentlemen who lives at a nursing home.....he has the most exciding stories. Everyone gets lost in the yarns he spends. Sadly, none of his stories are true. If Biden were not hoping, along with his followers, to become president...I would just smile at him being a war hero and legend in his own mind. I think it is time for him to enjoy his golden years.

Agree, time for him to go home, and enjoy his grandchildren.

I keep trying to look at this from a Democratic voter's viewpoint. Difficult, but I am up for it. During the 2016 Republican Primaries it was a street fight between Trump and his rivals. It was ugly, but the strongest candidate emerged from the street fight and went on to slay the Mighty Hillybeast.

The Democrats have to realize that playing nice will not produce someone with a chance to beat Trump in a strong economy. Somebody needs to call Biden demented and call Warren a Michael Dukakis.

The foundational presupposition of the Marxist's mindset is "The end justifies the means." This "tautological brick" is reflected in their actions and speech. Therefore, to them, there is no perception of anything they say to be a lie if in their mind it helps to bring about their "righteous end." In the case of Mr. Biden, the end was to show how reverent he is toward War heroes. He cannot honestly see that his "means," in this instance the lie of his story, hurts his character. Only with God does His "ends" justify His "means." Man is not God because we die and God does not.

Now there's an image...Dukakis and Biden. It fits! I wouldn't be surprised to see Biden all geared up and riding in a Rhino Bus, and Warren in a headdress. CNN promoting it as "diversity" and telling apathetic people watching them that "this is how it should be".

I read an article basically slamming the Democratic field of Candidates, in of all places Rollingstone Magazine. They compared Warren to Dukakis who was defeated badly by Bush the First. I had forgotten much about Dukakis, other than that picture of him riding in a Tank which made him look stupid. Dukakis was ahead of Bush in the polls and collapsed late. Dukakis had been Governor of Massachusetts and was credited with turning around it's economy.

Rolling Stone saw a parallel between Warren's seeming a plan for everything and Dukakis's proposed plans. If the parallel holds, Warren will win the nomination and be leading in the polls over Trump only to collapse badly late in the general campaign.

That is, I think, one of the worst excuses I have heard defending Joe Biden's lies and "mistakes". Why are his called "mistakes" when Trump's are called "lies"? But really, I thought Dems were supposed to be the better people-I know that Trump lies-he did before he became president, as do all people in the public eye, and especially politicians-not sure they would recognize the truth if it hit them in the face! But to use some one else's misdeed as a reason to behave just like him is silly and a non starter, as far as I am concerned. Let me be clear-NO ONE should be given a pass for lying-period. But this argument is simply ridiculous.
