I hope he did this with an eye toward the future charges, I see with the FISA application by Comey, that there will be a better case to file against Comey after the IG presents his facts in the FISA court findings of illegal manipulation of documents given the court.

I guess leaking "sensitive" (but not confidential) information to the press was just breaking a rule, not a law.

But one thing that bugs me about Comey is that he lied about "snapping awake" in the middle of the night (after Trump said that Comey better hope that there were no tapes of their conversations) on Monday, May 15, 2017 and concluded that he needed to share the memos, when Horowitz's report said that on the afternoon of Sunday, May 14, 2017 - the day before Comey's "midnight epiphany" - he had already sent four of the memos to Patrick Fitzgerald, one of his lawyers, with instructions to share the email and PDF attachment, with lawyer David Kelley and professor Daniel Richman (who leaked them to the press). Comey is a liar and a snake who tried to overthrow the presidency. His actions caused a Special Prosecutor to be appointed (Mueller) and the whole Russian hoax to happen. He shouldn't get off with a slap on the wrist for that, IMO.

I really can't figure out why the Clintons and now Obama and any member of the Cabal are above the law. It's been that way for years.

I think the problem under DOJ Barr is Horowitz, the Inspector General of the United States appointed by Obama. I hope he convicts the most disastrous crimes of Comey on the FISA warrant. Comey must be held accountable and pay for his crimes against the president, and against the American people.
