It sounds like the only thing will now have is an unethical lump of protoplasm masquerading as two political parties.
I am always amazed at how people act about the people they vote for! You vote for them and then complain about them and then reelect them over and over. Seems we have to make new laws to stop you from doing this.

Sadly we are at the point where it is the lesser of 2 evils.

I don't know what it is. Just look at NYC they elected a man that was a member of the Sandinista in
Nicaragua, commies trying to take over the country. They made him Mayor and reelected him. Now can anyone explain this?
When the people of any country slide down into stupidity and vote in the worst they can find to run the show, it's all over.

Not nearly that simple. What it boils down to is, electing the lesser of two evils. This is where term limits would help. It forces the "lesser of two evils" candidate to be replaced. Democrats vote for Democrats and Republicans vote for Republicans, it's the Independents who are stuck voting for the lesser of two evils. We NEED fresh blood on both sides or a third party. McCain was re-elected because he was unopposed and most citizens aren't into open borders and socialism. So we were stuck with McCain. It is never as simple as voting someone out of office. Never.

When AOC got elected there was poor turnout.
She got 27,000 votes.

That is why I wrote "we have to make laws to stop you from voting for them over and over. Yes, term limits.
