Amen and Amen spot on thanks for that I always enjoyed Bob Hope.
As funny as he was, his friends said they were more impressed with what a kind and gentle man he was. Not many like that in show business.

I had the distinct pleasure of being flown in to Bob Hope's 1968 Christmas USO show in Danang, VietNam, 1968. The troops, as always, loved him
A great, great man, with a heart as big as Texas. :sm24

I actually had the pleasure of meeting Bob Hope when I was 17. I was living in a boy's home called the Bob Hope House and he gave us a visit. Wonderful man; very funny. He said he used his nose to get cigarettes out of the machine and he never drove anything but a Chrysler. To this day Chrysler is my automobile.
