Try that
You've heard of the telephone game? One person whispers a message to another, who whispers to another,..., who whispers to a final person. The final person speaks the message and it is not the original.
This is a wonderful example of the telephone game.
Starting at 0:14 in the video segment with Nicolle Wallace talking with Paul Reyes:
Reyes: ...[Trump] warning people of the caravan in words like infestation. What do you do with an infestation? With an infestation the natural, what the [sic?] conclusion is to attempt an extermination. So there's very little distinction between his inciting this violence and the fact that it is now happening.
(Reyes says Trump talks about people in the caravan being an infestation. The natural conclusion is to attempt an extermination of the infestation.)
--------------------------------------------------
Then at 1:26:
Nicolle Wallace: You now have a president, as you said, talking about exterminating Latinos.
(Wallace misconstrues Reyes to have said, "You now have a president talking about exterminating Latinos".)
--------------------------------------------------
The Washington Examiner article titled "UPDATED: MSNBC's Nicolle Wallace claims Trump is 'talking about exterminating Latinos'", starts with:
MSNBC anchor Nicolle Wallace claimed that President Trump is "talking about exterminating Latinos" during her show Monday.
(The Washington Examiner misconstrues Wallace to have claimed, "President Trump is talking about exterminating Latinos".)
--------------------------------------------------
The Washington Examiner article concludes with:
UPDATE: Wallace took to Twitter on Tuesday evening to say she "misspoke" in her claims, writing, "I misspoke about Trump calling for an extermination of Latinos. My mistake was unintentional and I’m sorry. Trump’s constant assault on people of color and his use of the word 'invasion' to describe the flow of immigrants is intentional and constant."

(Wallace acknowledges her mistake and makes a correction.)

Let's look at that sequence.
1. Reyes says Trump talks about people in the caravan being an infestation. And the natural conclusion is to attempt an extermination of the infestation.
2. Wallace misconstrues Reyes to have said, "You now have a president talking about exterminating Latinos".
3. The Washington Examiner misconstrues Wallace to have claimed, "President Trump is talking about exterminating Latinos".
4. Wallace acknowledges her mistake and makes a correction.
5. The Washington Examiner keeps up the article titled, UPDATED: MSNBC's Nicolle Wallace claims Trump is 'talking about exterminating Latinos'.
6. billman6 misconstrues the Washington Examiner article (title?) as, MSM says the President wants to exterminate all Mexicans.
It's interesting how Reyes talking about Trump referring to caravan people as an infestation naturally leads one to attempt an extermination of the infestation ends up with billman6 writing, "I mean one of their [MSM's] latest statements was the President wants to exterminate all Mexicans."
