Pitbull stigma is a myth. Ive had several and still do. Actually, breaking up fights and supervising play and even getting bitten, as crazy as it sounds, changes you as a human. I believe it could help in interactions with unfriendly dogs or humans in the future, letting you keep a cooler head in emergencies. I am a life time owner, they can be aggressive, but so can any organism/mammal/human/insects etc. stop picking on pitbulls, their plight is difficult enough. Actually, as long as all Pit Bulls are neutered and confined to a fenced back yard, away from children and neighbors, they need not go to Greenland. Anyone bringing them un-neutered and unleashed to a public park should have their animal confiscated on the spot. If their dog bites another dog or human the owner should be jailed immediately. If the pitbull owner doesn't like this...then Greenland (in the far north) should be the next option.

You need to get hold of a dictionary and look up "vitriol". I guess to you all those dead babies are just collateral damage in the defense of a useless breed of dog. Pit bulls kill more babies than any other breed of dog and you would rather see the babies continue to die than to see the pit bulls eliminated.

No, thanks, I will get to it later and do some investigating. for now, I have to work. Sometimes work seems too challenging though. Working for and with boys who have been sexually abused is tough. This has a lot of info on Pit Bull violence against humans. The last section that describes most cases, I believe, shows that the major factor is irresponsible owners.
My comparison on violence still stands. Political correctness

We have a rescued feral cat. He has never mutilated or killed anything other than tiny rodents, sparrows, and lizards. The cat's natural diet is not tofu and alfalfa sprouts.
