Dear Paranoid Re-puke-I-can,
While we “liberals” (BTW, I’m a registered Republican) openly distain Trump and anyone who actively supports him and sticks-up for him, even though what he’s said has been proven to be lies, misogynistic, racist, or just plain un-American (even by your standards had his words been spoken by a Democrat or other liberal; an example being: claiming the “... Main Stream Media is an enemy of the country.”), you and your troops don’t give a damn about people seeking a better life in the US.
This same goes to those who support his inhuman treatment of immigrants, in direct violation of current US immigration laws. This includes keeping people caged-up beyond the statutory limits. Separating children from their parents when the parents don’t meet the legsl criteria to justify their separation from their children. Limiting access to basic necessities for proper hygiene. Limiting access to even minimal medical care.
Instead of constantly whining and crying about how much the liberals and Dems don’t like Trump, ask your fellow GOPTPers why they haven’t moved off their lazy asses and, at a minimum, brought-up the House-passed bills that would help elegiste some of the problems we face?
Ask Moscow Mitch why he’s not allowed a single House bill relating to voting security even a debate in his GOPTP-controlled Senate. He knows that the Russians will interfere with the elections in 2020. He’ll, he even allowed a cronie of Putin’s to “invest” $400,000,000.00 for a 40% stake in the new aluminum mill being built in - of all places - Kentucky.
To say Moscow Mitch is a crook and is in cahoots with Trump’s efforts to, again, use Russia’s help toward getting re-elected, is a severe understatement. I know of which I speak, too. I lived in Western Kentucky for several years. I got to see just how partisan and sectional Moscow Mitch really is. At the time, I worked for a federal agency in its Economic Development Section, working out of Paducah, KY. I had to travel to DC to ask Mr Moscow for his assistance on a project that would greatly benefit the citizens of the Purchase Area of Kentucky. His chief of staff asked me what political party I was affiliated with. How I answered would help determine how long I’d have to wait to see Mr Moscow. He, then, asked me if I’d care to make a donation the Mr Moscow’s re-election campaign.
I responded that my political affiliation was “...strictly my business,” and “No, I [didn’t] care to donate to the re-election campaign.” That “...my business is on behalf of the federal government and relates to a project to help his constituents and had nothing to do with politics.” 4 hours later, just before it was closing time, I was given 10 minutes with Mr. Moscow. After explaining the purpose of my visit and showing him the benefits of the project, he said that he’s “... extremely suspicious of anything that comes from...,” the agency I worked for. Then, he said he’s not at all interested in giving me his approval. I reiterated the fact that this wasn’t anything that would have a negative consequence. In fact, my agency would be providing over $1,750,000 into the project and the state and local governments said “...together, they’d spring for the remaining $1,250,000.” Mr Moscow still said “No.”
As I was leaving, his chief of staff said, in a low voice, “Things would’ve gone a lot differently had you told us who’s side you’re on and had you made a donation.” I replied, “Your playing politics just lost Western Kentucky the chance to land a large automobile manufacturing company moving its national headquarters from California to the Purchase Area. The company decided to locate in Middle Tennessee, instead.
So, please, tell me who puts party before country. If the current Majority Leader of the Senate won’t put his constituents first, don’t try to fool me and the rest of us into believing it’s the Dems who don’t care about shooting victims. Several bi-partisan, gun safety bills have sat on Mr Moscow’s desk for quite a while, now. I suppose you’ll want to excuse him because he just recently fell and broke his shoulder.
I try not to wish bodily harm on others, but in Moscow Mitch’s case, I’ll make an exception. Maybe God was just trying to get Mr Moscow’s attention; that breaking his shoulder was just a warning to him to start working for the country, not for just himself and his political party. Maybe, the next time Mr Moscow falls, it will be his neck that gets broken. One can only hope.
