Isaiah chapter 60

Verse 1 - 3

At the time America was founded, most Europeans were dying of war, plague, or bad choices.The Catholic Church was considered Christian. People went from being killed for Christ to killing for Christ. Religion and politics were combined. Then America was founded. The wealth and prosperity that comes from capitalism and limiting government, should have made America an example for how to produce wealth. Read Jeremiah 14:12 and Amos 8:11.

Verse 4 and 5

One day we will understand. We are in the land of milk and honey. But you get milk and honey from cows and bees. The bible is meant to be followed and not policed. The only person you should make sure is following God is yourself.

Verse 6 and 7

This seems to say the Muslims that bring crime to every nation that lets them in will one day be a blessing. Let’s see what happens.

Verse 8 - 10

Comedians made fun of President Trump when he said Mexicans would pay for the wall, but this says they will build it.

Verse 11 - 16

We still must be listening to the uninformed. Lies like there are gay animals, or gender can be chosen are believed. North Korea can’t build a car that can drive from China to South Korea. Yet they aspire to build a missile that can circumnavigate the planet and deliver a nuclear warhead to America. Capitalism enriches nations. Socialism destroys nations. Jesus says you know a tree by its fruit. We should learn from history.

Verse 17

With God, a little is a lot. Read 1 Corinthians 3:12.

Verse 18

No one wins a fight. Whenever people fight, both suffer loss. It is best to walk away.

Verse 19 - 20

Read Revelation 22:5.

Verse 21 - 22

God is in control.
