On November 8, 2016, I cast my vote for Donald Trump for President of the United States.

I wanted “The Great Disruptor.”

I wanted the swamp drained.

But, above all, I wanted America to truly become great again.

It didn’t happen.

None of it.

Instead, we’re in a far worse… far more dangerous spot than we were just two years ago.

One where the Welfare State and the Warfare State threaten to destroy our economy… leaving ordinary Americans crippled in the wreckage.

One where our national debt is approaching an astounding $23 trillion… with no end in sight.

One where border wars… trade wars… and Twitter wars have stolen our focus from a ticking time bomb in the stock market.

And one where the Deep State has boldly emerged from out of the shadows to steal our democracy right from under us.

Your assets… your savings… your retirement… everything you’ve worked so truly hard for…

It could ALL be at risk.

Dude.. I Paid Into SS just like anyone that has worked for a living all their adult lives!.. Get a Grip!!.. And Some of us have supplemental insurance to off set the cost of medicare... Drugs etc.. Contrary to LIB Opinion... In the truest definition of entitled or entitlement. that which I paid in, when I retired SS has an accounting of money paid in, and workers should be able to be "entitled" to get it back!! I worked for it!!..It's NOT welfare.. food stamps or any other damn thing.. it's taking the money back that you paid IN!.. Get over yourself.. I don't want this country filled with extremists from Either side of the Isle, Also.. I do NOT want socialism in this country and I am sure other's will agree!!...

Socialism in this country is bailing out the failing banks, giving billions of dollars to our farmers, and reducing tax rates on the enormous profits of our very wealthy corporations. We have no ability to take our tax money back from these programs. I'll agree to all but the SS.. Since I paid into that all my working life... I don't consider that welfare.. welfare is a "freeby" given to folks but paid for by all tax payers.. there is No such thing as Free..we are paying for it All..

Medicare and Social Security are welfare programs?
Wow!
I could have sworn that they took that money out of my and my employers contributions
over my 60 years of working life to pay for that. That money would still be there had it not
been for the fact that the government robbed the fund and put it in the general treasury.
Second time this week I have read on this forum how Medicare and Social Security are socialist and or welfare programs.
It’s a liberal jackass lie and telling it more often will never make it a truth.

Actually not paid for by the employers, what they contributed would have been in your pay check if the govt. hadn't mandated that it go into the system. If we had been able to put both moneys into a private account from the beginning of our careers even at modest interest we would way farther ahead and the govt. couldn't take it on a whim.

Only a small part of what this guy said was posted. He has been saying since the 70's to cash in everything in because of govt. debt they are going to confiscate your bank accts., your SS, your Medicare etc. The dude is trying to sell a book on how to protect yourself. Mike
