Well I am shocked - shocked I tell you! I have never insulted anyone who did not insult me first, and if I accidentally post to the wrong person I will apologize. I don't come here to be insulting, contrary to what many may believe. However, I reserve the right to defend myself just as you do. I am trying very hard to craft my opinions in ways that get my point across without the sarcasm or degrading comments -even when others bash me without provocation. It is very difficult, especially here because there are so many who seem to enjoy baiting, or really don't have anything constructive to offer. I personally believe I am learning more each day about many of the different people who post here, what they endure in their lives, and what's important to them. So....the beat goes on.

Eagle - I realize it doesn't happen often, but you and I are in agreement again. Constructive criticism is not an insult. If more people here understood 1 Timothy 3 they would know that the Lord encourages us to reprove and correct each other to ensure that all have a proper understanding of God and His plan for mankind. Of course, in the act of trying to constructively critique others, we (I know I do) can fall into the temptation of coming across sarcastic and even insulting.

I now offer my sincere apologies to you for the many times I have been insulting and degrading towards you. The Lord has helped me to realize that you and I may differ on many things -but we actually have more in common than we have differences.

Now, I don't expect you to suddenly change your opinion or perspective on how you see things. I will ask though if you would consider trying to be a little less insulting when you express yourself - and I am also trying very hard to do the same. What do you say?
