Hate to disagree with you Bahmer, (first time ever) but I think you're wrong on this one. Michelle is Michael Robinson. Obama has slipped on a couple of occasions and publicly called her Michael. You have only to see pictures of them in their very early days together. Theres no doubt about it.
There is no doubt about it IN YOUR MIND. You've convinced yourself, as have others, that Michelle Obama is a tranny. But your opinion is a very different thing than the facts, isn't it?
Facts are stubborn things; and whatever may be our wishes, our inclinations, or the dictates of our passion, they cannot alter the state of facts and evidence. JA
Regarding "a couple occasions" in which Barack O "slipped and "called her Michael". Good grief, how many times in his speeches, talks, interviews and comments has BHO blundered, fumbled, and tripped over words? How many times has he stuttered and stumbled and let go a Freudian slip or a faux pas?
On one of those "couple occasions", BHO was talking with a single reporter in the WH garden. The reporter asked him, "Mister president, does anything scare you?"
His response verbatim,
"Ya know . . . uh . . . well . . . when my, my . . . when Michelle's mad . . . " Every posting of this interview on youtube and elsewhere was done by rumor mongers and they chopped it there. Obviously they had an agenda and were too damned stupid to realize BHO stumbled a bit and was about to say "MY WIFE".
On the other of those "couple of occasions", BHO was speaking at the
Joint Chiefs of Staff Transition Ceremony in Arlington, VA. The retiring Chief of Staff was Admiral
Micheal "Mike" Mullen.
The text of the speech on the White House archive site shows that "Michael" was not a slip of the tongue.
THE PRESIDENT: Thank you very much. (Applause.) Secretary Panetta, thank you for your introduction and for your extraordinary leadership. Members of Congress, Vice President Biden, members of the Joint Chiefs, service secretaries, distinguished guests, and men and women of the finest military in the world.
Most of all, Admiral Mullen, Deborah, Michael, and I also want to also acknowledge your son Jack, who’s deployed today. All of you have performed extraordinary service to our country.Note the comma after "Michael". Obama did slip up, not in the name but in the phrasing. "Michael" here refers to Mullen's son. He is addressing the admiral's family, one by one, including his wife, Deborah, and their other son, John ("Jack"), who was not present at the ceremony because he was away on service.
When reading the speech, Obama missed the comma and failed to parse the sentence correctly, making it sound like:
"Admiral Mullen, Deborah, *Michael and I* also want to acknowledge your son Jack, who's deployed today."
rather than the correct:
"Admiral Mullen, Deborah, Michael — and I also want to acknowledge your son Jack, who's deployed today."
The incorrect phrasing makes it sound as if Obama is telling Mullen Sr that he (Obama) and Mullen's son want to acknowledge Mullen's other son, rather than what was intended by the speechwriter: Obama is acknowledging each of Mullen's family individually.
You can hear Obama hesitate as he realizes that what he's just said wasn't quite right, but he carries on anyway. A nice example of why punctuation matters. If the speechwriter had used a dash rather than a comma, another conspiracy theory would have had less fuel.
Would you care to see some Mr and Mrs Obama wedding photos?
