When doing laundry, I've always been told to keep the darks separate from the whites. And when washing whites, you add bleach to make them whiter. This has been pounded into my head all of my life by women! Women taught me this, and they own it, as a gender in it's entirety regardless!!

Arch, The Sgt. Major & I have an arrangement: She washes her clothes and all linen, I wash mine & the towels & washrags. BTW, I wash all my stuff/colors together.

This brings up a good point for all men who live with wimmen.
There are only one, or two things a man requires in the shower. Both are water, and soap. Why does a man have to sort through eleventeen different products just to wash his....stuff?

I am the ultimate male chauvinist pig. I don't do laundry --don't know how to use a washing machine and further I am not allowed to by a woman. Hehehe I won't apologize for it but I never complain.--I just holler-- outa socks ! and they magically appear folded and in my drawer.

Good one there Archie and I can remember this as well from both my mother and my wife. I believe you are on to something here. Then again what about those Chinese laundries I wonder if they have the same philosophy as women?
