When Manafort was indicted I thought it would bring down Tony Podesta if not both brothers. After all, how can you indict Manafort with enough details to prosecute without his co-conspirators. But they wound up calling his left wing co-conspirators by the identifying letters A & B to keep them anonymous. When a judge ordered they be revealed, I again cheered. But they were revealed in the judges chambers, though everyone who had followed the case knew who they were. Even the left wing NYT published a story revealing the guilt, though it downplayed the Podesta angle claiming Manafort recruited him and implying Tony Podesta was little more than a pawn of Manafort and Yanukovych, despite Tony Podesta having ties to Yanukovych that go back much farther than Manafort's. But though Mueller had subpoenaed the firm and its employees for documents and testimony related to their work and interviewed roughly half a dozen people about Tony Podesta’s involvement, they were never 'officially' named so were untouchable.
