The problem is that human beings are short sighted. We, as a species, cannot relate to things that happened 400 years ago, or even 100 years ago. All that is really important is what happens during our lifetime. Therefore, the cyclical changes must be caused by mankind, because, for the most part they do not happen on a short enough cycle to be remembered by any person, and in our arrogance we perceive that things that happened 500 years ago can not be of any influence to the world of today. We are much like butterflies in that way, visualizing life only as it relates to us. The fact that the planet is millions of years old, and has changed over time, and will keep on changing without our influence, shows of how little importance each of us is, and that fact must be refused by humans who , in our arrogance, believe we are as gods, in control of our world. The planet changes, and will keep changing, our responsibility is to be good stewards of God's creation, but not to pretend we are gods who can change the ebb and flow of our planet, or any other.

The largest creatures are the most susceptible. According to science we are in the sixth great extinction except this one is not natural it is caused by human activities Given the earths position in its wobble we should be entering into a new ice age naturally, The last one ended 12,000 years ago half of its 25,000 year wobble. The end of the ice age brought on civilization
