2015 Census estimates suggest that of the overall U.S. population of roughly 321 million,
blacks comprise 13.3%, or about 42.7 million.

That 13.3% of our population are victims in 52% of all murders.
That 13.3% of our population commit 53% of all murders.

Of the roughly 6,000 homicides last year in which police had information
about the race of both victim and killer (a 44% sample).
About 15.8% of white victims were killed by blacks,
About 89.3% of black victims were killed by other blacks.

Of the 13,455 cases from last year in which the FBI listed a murder victim's racial information,
7,039 victims (52.3%) were black, if 89.3% were killed by blacks, then that's 6285.
5,854 victims (43.5%) were white, if 15.8% were killed by blacks, then that's another 925.

Total murders committed by 42.7 million blacks, 7210, or 19.02 per 100,000.
Total murders committed by 278.3 million non-blacks 6245, or 2.17 per 100,000.
