Some folks call me a practicing homosexual.
Actually, I stopped practicing long ago once I got really good at it.

LOL! I somehow missed this.

You DO know I am simply speaking from the "Christian" perspective, don't you. It's a point about the huge numbers of Christians in the US and the claims of being Christian. I don't recall if you claim that so I'll leave it at that.

I'm perfectly happy to live and let live but I DO get tired of it being an issue; kind of like racism. This past week the crazy freshmen of "color" saidn Pelosi was racist and it was Trump who defended her. LOL! Now they are back to saying Trump is racist. And now, we have Ilhan Omar trying to say that Jesus was a Palestinian Muslim. LOL!

Any way Paul, no offense. Those of spiritual maturity would no be offended, I think. It's just a discussion. . . . . . Racist! LOL! Kidding!

My church says that you are welcomed to our church but the catch is that if your gay , you don`t act upon it, If your gay you cant do anything. My question is what kind of a life is there for a gay person to remain celibate. naturally they are going to do something. tell a man not to make love to a women. what a lonely life they would have. personally, I think that the government had something to do about having them excepted in churches

And what, exactly, is "advanced" knowledge. Do you think the cities of Sodom and Gamora were "advanced?"

No, I don’t. I think Sodom and Gemorrah are another aspect of Judaeo-Christian mythology.
Funny how Lot’s wife became a block of (presumably kosher) salt for simply looking back at her home, while Lot screwed both of his daughters (tell me how he could get it up twice while allegedly passed out drunk) and remained one of God’s favs.

Gay people are NOT going to live their entire lives alone any more than straight people are, no matter what some people insist would make God happy. That’s stupid and cruel.

It's called pulling away from medieval prejudices, and accepting advanced knowledge of what human sexuality is.

"Advanced knowledge" seems that Satan used that reasoning in the garden.

In other words, the practice of homosexuality, no just being homosexual, is the unending sin. It is forgivable if it is avoided. But a practicing homosexual? That's kind of like a practicing liar or murderer! Right??

Yes, they are sinners, but God loves them and we must love them too, but we don't have to practice their sins. But we must treat kindly and love them in spite of their sins.

As are you it would seem, unless you’ve dabbled a bit “on the other side”. I certainly haven’t.

I fail to understand what the other side you mention is. We are all the products of genetics and environment. Environment takes in experience and free will.

She was told not to. Disobedience. Bad.

As for Lot, it takes a Lot of imagination to think that's a true story.

(Smirk). You and your evil spirits. Maybe everything will be well if you slit a goat’s throat and sprinkle the sacrifice’s blood over your garage door?

Congrats. You’ve taken a baby step toward understanding.
