I'd tell you to source that, because I call BS...but I know you like to just pull the pin on the grenade and run for cover. So I did a little digging, and you are certainly able to correct me if I'm wrong.

I believe what you're referring to is the 8.2 million signatures on the Tom Steyer petition to begin impeachment against President Trump. In most articles it's mentioned that there are many veterans that have signed this petition, but the group I find most often mentioned is "Common Defense" which "organically" became a thing in 2016. On the About page of their website I find:

"Common Defense was born out of the 2016 U.S. presidential election when military veterans recognized Donald Trump as a real threat. We knew that he could win and we mobilized to stop him. Since then, we’ve grown into a powerful movement with more than 150,000 supporters and tens of thousands of veterans and military families across all 50 states.

We sacrificed for our country and continue to fight for what we know America can be – a place where liberty and justice is truly a reality for all. Millions of military veterans, service members, and families are tired of being exploited. We will not stand by as corrupt politicians loot our economy, attack our communities, and divide our nation with racism and bigotry so they can consolidate more power amongst themselves. Together, we reclaim our own stories, representation, and service for a better, more just world that’s for all of us.

Quick comment - it's obvious to see what these folks are about. It's a small subset of military veterans (well over 20 million in 2018) who feel like most progressives do and my surprise is that it's such a small subset - but of course progressives don't like to get their hands dirty generally, so maybe not such a surprise.

Ok, over 150,000. Not exactly millions. Now I'm guessing that among the 8.2 million folks who signed Steyers petition, there are probably a number of them who are NOT Common Defense members. Hell OPP has some. But over 1,850,000? (you did say millions remember).

I'll tell you what would be interesting is to poll veterans as a group to see whether or not they approve of President Trump. I don't think you'd like the results.
