Most of the pictures being used to show how bad illegal alien children are being treated under Trump, are ones I saw under the Obama administration. Not similar but the same photos with the same kids, wearing the same clothes, and the same age. Here are a couple of pictures purported to be current conditions which have been on the news recently. Note the uniforms. They are NOT the current uniforms!!! The 3rd picture has someone in a uniform I have no idea what it is. And then some current pictures. Obviously any with Melania Trump was not taken under the Obama administration.

Border Patrol Chief Hastings,who was on FOX today....

He's not Border Patrol Chief Hastings. In the first place, the agency is US Customs and Border Protection. NOT Border Patrol (though the old name is still used by civilians). So there is no such title. In the second place, Hastings is not even a CBP official. He is Chief of Law Enforcement Operations. In other words, part of the DOJ. The news story can't even get the right agency. So what else did they get wrong?

Fox is far more conservative than any of the other nationally televised channels. Being conservative does not mean you are infallible. When I am at a certain friend's house who has a television, he often watches certain Fox shows. Especially Hannity. While I am often in agreement with Hannity's sentiments, I have seen him being factually incorrect on a number of occasions.

All of these news anchors have editors that try to hold them to certain guidelines of what they can and cannot say, but a few often do what's right and step outside of the box!! Fox has enough liberalist/socialist problems with Juan Williams, Shep Smith & Chris Wallace....So I'll have to give most of the others a free pass for now!!

I wouldn't worry too much about the liberals...they have already demonstrated no limits on craziness. As for this meme, I don't approve and I have made a vow to never use a meme again....BUT...right here on OPP, liberals have joyfully posted Trump in all sorts of disgusting situations...even Trump receiving anal sex from Putin. I don't approve of either.
One aspect that I haven't seen mentioned is "overwhelmed". The border patrol has been overwhelmed for years, not just in Trump's time but Obama's time and before. What does that mean? Well...not enough border agents, not enough passive border restraints, not enough facilities, not enough supplies, and way, way too many border crossers.
All this takes it's toll on body AND mind. They see child traffickers, forced prostitution, drugs, murders, those that die from dehydration, those that drown, bodies all shot up or worse, dismembered.
Then, when they arrest those illegals that have crossed multiple times, they watch them given a court date and set free, the most of which are never seen again.
They work for a government of which half says that these things are not happening, that the border agents are cruel and inhumane to poor migrants, that they just separate families for no reason.

What I'm saying is that I see at least the possibility that the Facebook page is a way for agents to disassociate themselves from all of the crap that they see daily before they lose their mind, then later it becomes like an addiction. I was reading a post on OPP just yesterday that said suicide is on the rise for first responders because of the horrible things they see.
I'm not condoning or approving anything, I'm just trying to understand WHY these past and present border agents would do these things.

According to FB, during the last election they had thousands of fake accounts with millions of followers. If that was true, then why would we believe this about BC? I know how government employees are vetted and then watched, to include their social media. I worked for the government for over 35 years. I am not saying that it is impossible for the BC agents to start a FB account or even that there are no bad apples in that force. What I am saying that I will wait to see what comes out of the investigation. Until then, I too am leaning to this being a stunt pulled off by Liberals/Democrats.
