I agree. And the separation of the two was mentioned in my post to Rumi, in the 1955 speech to the Wausau, Wisconsin, Chamber of Commerce.
Classical liberalism was about limiting government. Today’s liberalism is all about big government, readily identifiable in the recent democratic debates.

A situation where only the few keep gaining wealth & more & more are left behind sucking on an empty tit.
I am liberal in my political beliefs. While living a very conservative life style.
I have played the game & have come out ahead.
I have been around & am smart enough to know a con man when I see one.
Trump is just a con man looking out for him self.
As long as there are those that show a blind eye & ear to him they will end up being losers.

Just blindly hanging on to the Ponzi Scheme of economic life.
The plot to put the wealth into fewer & fewer hands.

In any event the plot is what is causing the systems problems.
Following Trump will just leave most with the crumbs.
While those with the most just keep getting the best parts of the pie.
You are living in a world where many have had to settle for crumbs.
Who now feel that if they can't have some pie no one will get any pie.
The smart thing to do would be to see there is more pie for every one not just for some.
The sadness is that having more pie is about having more of every thing.
The feeling that if you can have it all why not have it all.
So what if there is much less for others.
It has been an issue of those with having more always being able to get more.
In a life that puts the few ahead of most leaves a very unstable world.
That is the situation we live in today.
In life needs are few & wants are unlimited.
To many have too many wants. (Wants become needs for some.)
Too many have to much & only want what other don't have.
