Yes, you have the right for health care. No one should be discriminated against because of which sex they are, what race or ethnicity they are, or their marriage status. Requiring payment for the services provided is not a matter of discrimination it is just a free market business requirement in order that the business remain solvent. Whether you pay out of pocket, by an insurance plan, or on a time payment plan is up to your arrangement between the business and the customer (YOU)
I often wonder how many people would still overeat, smoke, never get any exercise, or have a number of sex partners if their medical care costs had to be out of their own pocket, NOT MINE!!!

I know people who make over 150,000 a year and won't buy insurance they just go to emergency room. So who pays you do.

It certainly is, and yet those who are not aware of the desired end results, so welcome the shackles.

Healthcare should be required for everyone, everyone should be required to have a policy.
Just like you need a driver's licence
Or insurance on your car
Home owners insurance
Hunting licence
Fishing license
And every other thing were forced to have

Do you have to have home owners insurance if you own the house, no mortgage? I don't think so. When we bought the land our house was to be put on, we did not need insurance, when we bought our home a new double wide we paid cash, including installation fees and drilling fees for the well. No body ever said we needed home owners insurance of liability insurance. We bought both because we wanted them, not because they were required. Both the home, including installation, and the around 80 acres it is on were paid in full.

Good for you And if you have enough money to post a bond you don't need to buy car insurance, but millions are unable to do it.

We do have liability insurance for the car, but, since it is 11 years old, we dropped the insurance for repairs.
Why do we have the money? because we don't have anything we can't pay for, and live very simply home grown food, trade our vegetables for neighbors eggs and goat milk. Yes, we trade services with others when ever possible, barter works well. No, we don't go to the movies, own a TV or play video games, but we do have friend over and on many occasions have shared our home with someone who needs a place to stay

Thats good to know. Right now we are wondering what NPP's almost week long visit to 4 hospitals to find out what is wrong with his heart, is going to cost us. He has had heart problems, a couple of stents and a double bypass, but the heart problems and breathing problems put him back in the hospital. Turns out that this time it is a lung infection and he is on a number of new antibiotics but at least he is back home where i can supervise him. I think he missed the 4 dogs more than he missed me, and they are going to help him get better, his blood pressure is almost back to normal since yesterday when he got home, and the dogs are just the medicine he really needed.

Why is Healthcare NOT a Right? A "Right" comes in one of two forms. It is either a "Natural Right" (that is you are born with it; life, liberty, pursuit of happiness) or it is a "Constitutional Right" (think the Bill of Rights; free speech, right to own and bear arms, etc.).

Medicare For All, Universal Healthcare, and such offerings are neither a natural right nor a constitutional right. The free healthcare for everybody idea being touted by politicians is not a "right" at all, but rather a form of "forced charity".

Such plans simply amount to fiscal coercion of the people who pay taxes by a government body that takes by legal force the funds from those people in amounts needed to pay for other peoples' healthcare.

It is not a matter of taxpayers not being compassionate of caring about those who are sick or destitute. Instead it is a matter of confiscating taxpayer wealth without permission for programs that are often unsustainable or wasteful.

America is the most charitable and compassionate country in the world. Until government and politicians got their noses into the healthcare issue, those among us who needed healthcare charity were served and received it from many non-governmental sources (community base healthcare centers, church and civic organization charitable programs, hospital healthcare outreach programs, and so on).

What Medicare For All and other such schemes do is negate true healthcare charity programs and promise free healthcare charity for everyday medical services for everyone doing so using forced contributions to the government charity pool.

Medicare For All will be Medicare For None, and will become government charity paid from the wallets of those who will eventually become charity cases themselves. The issues are government coercion and government control of you and your healthcare.

Think about it.

From what I understand an average American that commits a crime and goes to jail gets free health care while incarcerated. They also entrance to an exercise room and entrance to a library and they can take on line courses and pursue a degree from various colleges as well as receive three square meals a day all on the taxpayers dime. Plus they get to watch TV if they want. When they get out of jail they commit crimes just to get back in and be taken care of.

While the incarcerated is enjoying all these freebies, his family is living the life of drudgery. When illegal aliens come in and get all the freebies they can amass and kill or rape or rob legal citizens, ICE can’t come in and get them. Who has all the rights that can be handed out here. It’s disgraceful.
