California and Texas are the states hosting the biggest populations of undocumented immigrants in the U.S., according to estimates by Pew Research Center. The two states were supporting undocumented populations of 2 million people and 1.6 million people in 2017 respectively. New York, Florida, Illinois and several more states along the Eastern seaboard also have a large population of undocumented people.

2017 was the first year in which Mexicans were not an absolute majority among undocumented immigrants in the U.S. anymore. In fact, as Statista’s Katharina Buchholz notes, immigrant inflow from the USA’s Southern neighbor has declined significantly since 2007, while more undocumented immigrants entered from Central America, South America and Asia.

Mexicans remain the largest single group among the undocumented population in the U.S., accounting for 47 percent. The fifth largest group of undocumented immigrants in the U.S. are people from Europe and Canada, with an estimated 500,000 persons in the country in 2017.

In between 2007 and 2017, the total number of undocumented immigrants in the U.S. shrank by 14 percent, but they still made up 23 percent of the total foreign-born population in 2017, according to Pew.

The typical undocumented immigrant has lived in the U.S. for 15 years, the researchers concluded from 2017 median numbers.

They are like Bed Bugs!!! and they are all over our Country, and they are spreading like " Wild Fire!! They live in Washington State, California, Texas etc...... I live in Washington State and we all have problems with these People in every way shape and form. They swarm all over the place trying to take over and steal our Government Programs and then they think that they can steal us blind!!!! BS!!!!. Now what do Y'all think and where do Y'all live?

I dunno if there are more Mexicans or South American latinos here(you cain't tell by lookin)
What I do know the illegals have taken over the construction jobs here
they work for half the wages that an American would demand
they are also inundating the fast food business(and when you drive down any street,you will encounter a latino grounds keepers truck,loaded with machines.heading to their next job.I wonder if half of them have drivers licenses and insurance
build the damned wall President Trump
and fight congress to change the immigration laws

that's just why neither party really wants immigration reform.
That's why they refuse to make a law that will fine the employers of these people.
Congress works for these employers both parties we only pay them 174,000 but the lobbyist makes them millionares.

I am so Sorry to hear what Y'all have to deal with in Texas!!! we got the same problems up here in Washington State. We are loosing a lot of Business and there is a lot of Food Poisoning in our Fast Food areas because they hire all these uneducated Immigrants. YUP they are stealing the Jobs up here as well. This Government needs to work together instead of Bumping Heads, and get our Wall's Build, it is Urgent!!!!! I totally Agree with you on this issue!!! badbobby!!!!!.
