If it was up to you we would still be in the 18th century and one of the main reasons we are the wealthiest nation in the world is because we borrow money to run a government so that our wealthy aren't "over" taxed. Today we are an oligarchy, not capitalistic, and there hasn't been a major project undertaken by this country that wasn't ordered and financed by our government. It was the government that built our first roads, first canals, the first transcontinental railroad. Our interstate highway system was financed by the government. We wouldn't have been in space if not for the government and the computer would still be in its infancy.

If our country was based on Capitalism none of that would ever have taken place and we would be at least a century behind where we are today. So don't sit there and blow smoke out your ass and think that it has any meaning...it doesn't. You don't know what you are talking about. You know nothing about economics and if you think that any intervention into our economy by government is socialistic then we have been socialist since we were first founded!!!

Years ago my hippie commune leftist activist buddy gave the exact argument for the glories of government. Since Trump mercifully won, we don't talk to each other anymore, but government produces nothing and takes whatever it can get. Other than the strength of our military because of Trump, I can't think of a single thing that government doesn't bloat, obfuscate, naturally FU.
Washington DC is cesspool of treason and sedition and corruption so deep that whatever respect I could muster for government is gone. Mention FBI and I laugh. All corrupt to a man, the same as the other so called intelligence bureaus. Laughable in their haughty opinions of themselves and their mitigations of the coup that they are still pursuing. Government is the problem, always, in any country.
