US Denies Embassy Requests to Fly Gay Pride Flags

US Embassies in Brazil, Germany, Israel and Latvia, all made formal requests to fly a gay-rainbow flag in front of the embassies for Gay Pride Month.

Some believed that with President Trump’s recent proclamation that he would work to protect the rights of the LGBT community, that he would allow the gay flags to fly at the embassies.

However, the State Department, via the instructions of the Trump administration, declined the requests.

This was confirmed on Monday when Vice President Mike Pence went public which his statement that the embassy requests were denied.

“I’m aware that the State Department indicated that on the flag pole of our American embassies that one flag should fly, and that’s the American flag, and I support that,” Pence told NBC News in an interview released Monday.

Pence’s remarks come days after the news outlet first reported that the Trump administration was rejecting requests from U.S. embassies to fly the flag outside — an apparent reversal from the Obama administration.

At least four U.S. embassies — in Israel, Germany, Brazil and Latvia — were reportedly denied permission to fly flags in support of the LGBTQ community…

History shows us that EVERY civilization that embraced and accepted homosexual behavior soon fell either to an enemy or from within.

The two best examples were Sodom and Gomorrah and ancient Rome.

Of course, history also shows us that virtually every country that embraced socialism also fell as socialism doesn’t last for long.

But then, many of today’s liberals have never been taught true history nor are they smart enough to learn from it.

If you let one group fly a flag then all will want to fly them. Saying no is the best way to stop this, besides embassies should only fly the flag of it's country.

The American flag is the symbol of ALL Americans. Are people not American because they're gay? This whole issue is so stupid and inane. But I guess it does give the left something to shriek and howl about as usual
