Actually the person that Duckie had the misunderstanding with was not a Liberal. It was just a person that may have been teased or tormented as a kid because they did poorly in English, thereby being oversensitive. Duckie just hit the wrong button when she asked if the person had written in English. Duckie now knows better and will be much more diplomatic when she sees or hears something she does not understand. I assure you, my daughter did not intend to be unkind. But, the other person just kept getting more and more defensive, until Duckie abandoned the thread.

I think that I kind of remember that. The individual did have a problem with the language but then so have others on here. I don't really care how well the English is written as much as can I make any sense out of their comments at all. Their are some on here that write well but their comments make little or no common sense. There is a lot to be said for horse sense and the majority on the left don't have any.

There was absolutely nothing wrong with what she said. The libtard was just doing what they all do, attack, attack, attack, and attack, some more. I have gotten to a point where when ever I see their ignorant posts I just skip over them and press on....

It does not matter now. We are taught that nothing is an accident, everything and everyone has a reason. This was just something that we could not have taught her well, and now Duckie will weigh her words before she just says what is on her mind. And who knows, the other person may just been having a bad day or two. I will keep everyone up to date on Duckie. Not because you might have an interest but because I am so proud of her!

Thank Dutch,

I will let Duckie know that you send encouragement for her to always be herself, to be passionate, and you are in her corner!

Thank you. I will let her know. To be honest, she did put her toe on the line when she had her say. Not over the line, no bad words, no excuses...she just let the person know why she asked her if she had written her statement in English. Funny in many ways.

I am pretty sure I read all of her post and I didn't see anything objectionable

You are so kind, I will let Duckie know that you followed her posts. It will mean a lot to her to know that she had so many good people reading and did not find her objectionable. It will put a smile on her face.

Thank you!

I remember that question but didn't find it offensive, the person was a bit incoherent

Alex, thank you and we know that Duckie really is a very sweet person. She does have a strong personality that can overwhelm those that do not know her well. It is good to know that she did not offend everyone and better that she actually came out smarter for the encounter. For months, when she did not understand something she would look me in the eye and ask me if I were speaking English. It was just her way of saying that she did not understand. After the incident, she replaced the phrase with a more appropriate "I do not understand, can you explain"; this has been a positive thing. Thank you.

Horse has gained almost 90 pounds and has a few to go, but colt and mare are doing well. Duckie spends time in brushing and grooming; and talking to her. It is sweet! She has great ability and patience with animals. Her love shines! Thank you for being nice to not just my Duckie but to me. You have always been gentle!

Imagine a world where Liberals were prevented from ever calling conservatives dumb, stupid and idiots, they would robbed of half their argument. Of course they would still have racist, fascist, homophobe, tea bagger and bla, bla, bla. But the loss of derogatory name calling would cripple them. They actually must believe these attacks constitute a cleaver counterargument. The good news is by using these tactics they will never learn to argue beyond the level of a six year old.
