This Speech on Abortion By a 12-Year-Old Left Her Pro-Choice Teacher Speechless
At first Lias pro-choice teacher told her that she was disqualified from the schools speech competition because her topic was too controversial. But then she HEARD the speech and was so blown away she changed her mind. Lia went on to WIN the competition! And no wonder. Lia is more articulate than 98% of the people I know.

http://www.youtube.com/user/FyreFoxXPI saw this earlier and this is beautiful. Sweet simple to the point and logical all the things progressives hate. And she did it with love.
Couldn't finish the video. Her reasoning is simplistic and incorrect. Her parents should be investigated for child abuse.
This child, she hit a home run. Clearly she did her homework and the presentation was hers, she owned it. It did not sound as though she was coached or someone else told her what she should say. My hat is off to her, and her parents for the time and love they have put into this child with a message!

No. you're wrong there. I thought she did great. And as I have said before, I think now that birth control will be easier to get, I believe abortion will pretty much fade away. At least I really hope so.
Really? Birth control has been available at the same clinics that abortions are performed dating back to 1973. Few questions were asked and women got protection. The cost was always covered under state medical programs and even free clinics. I know that in my area, kids can get birth control as young as 13 with parent permission. Abortion rates have only increased and now statistically 1 in every 10 women will have their child aborted. This is mass murder of children. But, this thread is about the young girl and her presentation and I should not hijack the thread to state my opinion on this murderous activity!

You might want to crawl back in the septic tank you crawled out of.....
I feel pity for you. Your last encounter with an abortionist must have left you scared forever. Ask God to forgive you, and trust in him to understand that you understand that it was wrong. As for this little girl, she spoke to your heart and that is why you could not finish watching the video. I hope that her message reaches those who have not yet taken the life of a child. I agree that her message was simple, but from the mind and heart of babes, the nation will be led. Hang in there and know that the Almighty will take pity on you, if you ask with a humble heart.

http://www.youtube.com/user/FyreFoxXPBRILLIANT! Thank you. And irrefutable logic. All liberties have concomitant responsibilities. Yes, accidents may happen against all efforts to avoid them, yet in all but pregnancy are these "accidents" made under law a demand for accountability.
Being in control of one's body means just that: control! Lose it and who is to blame? The safety valve of abortion claims a different ethic: I can change my past irresponsible actions, the heat of passion in the moment, or a flaw in protection beyond my dutiful measures to protect against by government degree. "I am absolved." No. The taking of any life, willfully or by negligence, is a crime. Incestuous pregnancy of minors or their rape, rape of adults. or pregnancies that severely threaten the life of the mother-to-be, I feel, are exceptions.
