Wing nuts like to live out in the boonies cheating on their taxes and when the forest catches on fire and their home is in the path of the fire they yell for some one to send a hellicopter to drop water on their house. Of course they dont want to pay for it they want the tax payers to pay for it. The tax payers live in the cities and know the value of good government and view taxes as the price we pay to live in a civilized society

Good Government? where in the hell do you live - Mars - there is no such thing as good Government today.

Such kind, benevolent, and tolerant thoughts.
Thank you bitter, hateful, old hippy.

I didn't used to be this way but the modern conservative movement began turning the world upside down
in the 1970's and killed the new deal coalition and began peeling away the new deal like an onion layer by layer and it led to extreme polarization of American society and I'll admit im bitter at the loss 40 years of progress from 1933 to 1973 was wiped out in 20 years

Yeah, I would probably feel the same if I was interested in telling everyone how to live, speak, and think.
But I'm not. I don't care how you live, speak, or think as long as you leave me alone.

If your state wants a turd, and syringe on every sidewalk, that's your business. Just don't impose it on my state.

I know......that's hard for you to fathom....

I meant to ask, this was taken in San Francisco. Is it a turd or a syringe?

Wanna know why rural Americans vote Republican? Rural communities are always last in line when the cream is shared out. The cities get the best schools the best doctors the best grocery stores the best law enforcement the best of employment opportunities the best of every thing. If you are rural or in a small town in a rural county you get underfunded law enforcement that do not enforce the law when it comes to property crimes- Volunteer fire departments with 1947 fire engines out dated textbooks for school children--high prices in grocery stores high priced gasoline. roads and streets that destroy our cars. When the storms hit the rural population are the last to have utilities restored. Rural people are sick of being the last in line. Wake up --Democrats in congress need to do more for the people of rural America instead of catering to just the city folks. Democrats in the Senate and Representatives need to really show some action to improve life in rural America. Do this and it will change the way they vote.

The one thing that’s good is the old textbooks.. the honest truth. No new hype.

Utter horse hockey. You leftists would be at each others throats before you know it. Ultimately, the ones paying the way for those who don't produce will finally say screw it.

It's never worked nor will it ever.

The Democrats don't give two shits about rural America or for that matter intercity problems. their focus is on power, wealth and a socialist/ Marxist/ communist society which would keep them in power. You are absolutely correct that they need to do something for this country other than pointless investigations and meaningless impeachment threats. You sound like an old school Democrat, who today would sound like a radical Republican which alienates you from all the crazies - keep going, your on the path to becoming a conservative which is a good thing because conservatives stand for all the things you'd like to see happen in rural America.

I imagine they might even like their country I think most kids would be better off if raised in rural America

That's how my kids grew up, and they don't think anyone owes them a damn thing. Even when they were out of the nest, and getting their feet under them, what little help we gave them was accepted reluctantly. Now, they are the helpers of others.

Mine, too. That’s what happens when parents actually have a hand in teaching.

Trouble is, Archie, that crosses the state line and eventually ends up on your sidewalk.
