Me and heights, nope, 10 feet is too high, I be hugging beam as the high walkers call it when someone freaks out. They drop and you can't pry their arms off the beam.
I did residential roofing for almost 20 years and was terrified every day but never “hugged beam” as you say.
Fear is healthy, being afraid is unacceptable.
