We may get some relief from the Saudi prince since this president is letting them slide after the khashoggi assassination. They may ramp up production.
We are no longer dependent on foreign oil. We are the 3rd highest oil producing country in the world now that drilling restrictions have been lifted.
So where is gasoline more than $7 a gallon? Where I live, it's about $2.75 to $2.80.
Although in Tennessee I’m payed $3.15 yesterday for premium, not $7 but is high.
And the idea that we produce more in the U.S., we also export more than we ever have. And that is understandable as a global economy. It’s a shorter distance from Alaska or California to East Asia than from other oil countries.

Interesting article but concerning the OPEC leader, so no reprisals. Khoshoggi worked for a free press and was assasinated in a NATO country. These things should disturb every democracy that buys oil from them, but it doesn’t disturb this president of the U.S., apparently. https://amp.usatoday.com/amp/3555724002

One thing is certain, Obama would not have done anything at all. His lines in the sand are just that; lines of sand. LOL!
