Impeachment is to proceed to that decision. Clinton was impeached on a simple clarification of did he lie over the term "sexual relations".

Isn't this much more crucial if our voting process was compromised, or of obstruction of facts?

However, there was no evidence of a crime found. Reasons for impeachment, as you know, are outlined in the constitution. A president can commit “unsavory acts” without rising to the level a requirement for impeachment. Heck, I don’t think Clinton would’ve been impeached for receiving oral sex in the Oval Office... he was impeached for lying. Had he just told the truth...? Who knows...

What crimes do you see that were committed by the president that rise to the level of initiating an impeachment proceeding? None of those who conducted the actual investigation found anything.

Well Smugly I would have to read the report for that which I have not done, this is why I voted for representatives to do their jobs, they will do it and get well paid for it, maybe you can take it up with them.

My edits were added not confuse but to clarify, so they shouldn't have been a problem. But it went to people using examples of someone who had already been arrested and in a criminal court. This came about when the topic of the attorney's of the president were privy to the report before Congress.

This should not be the case with an impeachment process. The process included reading the full report in order to come to the conclusion of whether a charge is to be made, or not.

These are the differences, to my understanding.

Impeachment defined: Impeachment is the process by which a legislative body levels charges against a government official.
