The media does exactly what it should, it reports on what Trump says and does. If there are ten banks in a town and one of them is held up the news has no obligation to print articles on the nine banks that weren’t robbed. Everything reported about Trump in the media, that you have been brainwashed into demonizing at his bequest, is reporting things he has done, lies he tells and things he tweets or says. The media’s role in a free society isn’t to cheerlead for a self important ruler, it is to hold them accountable and inform the public, and they are doing just that; as they should.

What exactly did they fail to report? That he was not born in Hawaii, that his wife is a man, that his kids were stolen, that he was Muslim? The media scrutinized as much about him as they did every other president including Trump. Trump could avoid negative coverage by not lying and violating the law and norms.
