Chicago is our third largest city and she will do just fine she won the election in every ward in the city and is well respected. Her ethnicity and sexuality have nothing to do with her honesty and skill set.

Third largest? That's even worse. I expect we will watch preferential treatment being given to blacks just as we saw under Obama's reign. Amongst minority leaders conservatives are more inclined to treat all people equal. You will undoubtedly scream that's "racist" instead of that's "realist."

The fact that you’re clueless as to Chicago’s size or ward system of governance and yet are comfortable making nonsensical comments on the new mayor speaks volumes to your ignorance. She received a majority of votes in every ward representing every ethnic neighborhood in the city. Her support came from her work to hold the CPD accountable while treating them fairly in a way they haven’t been in the city’s long history. She is breaking down the machine politics that conservatives have griped about for over half a century and you are not bright enough to recognize the obvious because of your racism and homophobia.
