For A Healthcare Replacement Idea To Be Good There Has To Be A Well Conceived Plan

What is this talk of eliminating healthcare without having any inkling of a replacement?

Healthcare as the Donald found out is complicated, he should have gotten it that it isn't as easy as saying he is going to come up with a better cheaper plan where everyone is covered.

The replacement needs to be rolled out and fought over until it makes enough sense to pass with bipartisan support. The healthcare we have could be modified in dozens of ways that would make it work better, and going after elements of fraud and waste would be part of it.

This is how the GOP has been operating lately with things like tax cuts that would have never passed if it had been fully explored and vetted by the CBO. Every aspect needs to be fully assessed so that people know what we are getting so that we don't get something with idiotic voucher plans and no protections for those with pre existing problems.

Good post. I'll buy into this idea. The only problem is that both parties are beholden to special interests, so I don't expect to see a proposal that actually will reduce the cost of healthcare along the lines proposed by Rand Paul or Karl Denninger.

Well of course that's what he means. And Nancy and her mob are busting out of their britches to help craft a workable, affordable, practical Health Care Plan.

ACA is just another crappy bill conceived by the rat pack. All legislation written by demorats is corrupt and written so full of holes it spends years in court trying to get the courts to figure what is says . Every thing of importence that the demoRATS have managed to get through congress is nothing but bait for the
The lawyers that run that crooked bunch outlaws and traitors. Including that bunch of scanks that brought the abortion law that has murdered 60 million babies. There are also bunch of rinos that work with the rats and i feel its about to come to an end.

I missed that part, what did happen was committee after committee hearings, inputs from lobbyists, compromises after compromises, and republican votes because of public pressure to sign it.

Republicans need to put out a plan and let that plan be worked over by the public and CBO in order to have the costs analyzed. Do you defend the idea of kill and replace with some mess put together by lobbyists and special interest groups over a few weeks?

My point was it doesn't make any sense except GOP sense to kill what we have and put ludicrously ridiculous plan into gear...what could go wrong?

The ACA has a hundred little fixes that could be legislated if the GOP would engage to help make it right, they have fought everything about it including red states that have refused to get involved.

It's okay though, because screwing with Obamacare is going to result in medicare for all, and no insurance companies at all, which allows those tens of billions to contribute toward healthcare. Add drug company profits and wallah, we have healthcare for all.

"Wallah?" That's your solution to healthcare? I hope when you say "wallah" a hundred trillion dollars of real value magically appears that will erase the national debt and pay for socialized medicine for a couple decades. By then, climate change will have killed all human life so it won't matter after that. Oh Shoot! We're going to need another 100 $trillion to work on climate change at the same time. Do you have a super "wallah" in your magic kit?

Campaign sloganeering about health care is the ONLY thing Trump cares about. Millions of Americans are enjoying the benefits of the ACA. It can be improved. Let's work on what we have in place and stop the crazy talk about repeal and replace. There is no replace plan, never has been.
