The ACA was signed into law March 23, 2010. How should we deal with the implementation of an illegal act. Will millions go to jail? Does anyone have a replacement plan? Time to consider the plan already in place: Medicare for All.

Sorry he needed Republican votes. We have a tax cut bill that increases our deficit by $2.4 trillion raised income inequality from 60% to 85% and only benefits the upper 1% with no democratic votes. But you will vote to take away healthcare for pre exiting condition.
You have had 100% control over congress for 8 years and still cannot repeal the ACA so there are Republican votes

I am unsure why "millions" would go to jail.... certainly not the people who were forced to pay for medical care of people with preexisting illnesses. I think a modification to "American Patients First" needs to be fleshed out and though given to pharmaceutical manufactures price freezes would be a step in the right direction. As for Medicare for all.... who will pay for this plan?

Reducing the cost of drugs should be a priority. American Patients First plan received poor reception by law makers and the public. It is seen as a neutered compromise between the BIG Pharma industry and Trump walking back on aggressive anti-pharma campaign promises. More of the same.....broken promises.

remember generic drugs were cheap until David Pryor and his ACA bill (another DEM LIAR) that have increased the cost of generic drugs 1000%. Follow the money from the PMA to Senate and the House. The cash machine that creates it all. FDA is a federal unit whose wages are paid by the PMA, another cash machine. NIH, a lot of what they do is search for and find new chemicals for use in treating or curing diseases. The Citizens TAXES pay for this research. Drug Company buys the research from NIH, they do trial study and get approval from FDA to market the drug. Every dime spent by drug company is then credited as development cost and is a 100% TAX CREDIT - great for profits. Then sell the drug and the CITIZENS pay the cost of TREATMENT once again, it never ends.

Republicans don't believe in regulating corporations, not even in common sense regulation. It hinders their ability to make insane profit margins on the backs of the consumers and/or the workers in the factories covered by such regulations. Republicans also have no issue with poor air/water quality and tend to roll back EPA regulations on those as well. Isn't that one of the things Trump bragged about, rolling back/eliminating regulations put into place by Obama? I do agree, some regulations are just plain OVER-REGULATING, some are vital. If a corporation doesn't do it's part to ensure they are destroying the air we breathe and the water we drink, regulate them, If pharmaceutical companies go overboard in profiteering, regulate them, some regulations are must because we can't always trust corporations to put American interests before insane profiteering.

Perhaps Trump should declare an emergency to protect consumers from price gouging by Big Pharma. He could require all lawmakers to support the "Stop Price Gouging Act" and the "Medicare Negotiation Act". Members who do not comply with Trump's demands will be required to supply their labor (without pay) to
help build the wall. That will demonstrate to his hapless followers that he truly does keep his campaign promises.
