Yes, but DID NOT include those branches. that was 21st Century Fox, which WAS part of Fox holdings but yes, that portion was sold to Disney, not the rest.

You do know that EVERYONE can do some research themselves, I haven't been promoting the fact that 21st Century Fox was sold to Disney, others have been, all I am doing is informing you people that your Fox news was left out of the deal. Whether you choose to bail on Fox news, that is up to you guys, but it will still be owned by Fox Corporation which for now is still owned by Rupert Murdoch. Anyways, I have quoted my post here for you, showing the sale of 21st Century Fox.

Southern Arizona is the likely unlucky winner, though I have friends trying to talk me into other extremes, everywhere from the Sierra Nevada to Montana (brrrrr).

Being a gun guy and life NRA type, any state I settle in for the duration has to be one that respects the 2nd Amendment, moreso because I plan to live off the beaten track.

You must still be a young stud muffin, forty-something I'm guessing if you've retired. Agree about Montana, that's too dang cold and too much snow. I'd stick with AZ, iffin I was you. Hang on to the mineral rights. You just never know what's underground in AZ.

Not yet, but I'll soon be retiring to the desert.

I just have a simple Motorola Android phone, but it's easier than humping my laptop around and still gives me all the access to data, email, etc an old geezer needs.

Being, essentially, an analog man in a digital world, my high-tech needs are few. I am surprised, though, that none of these young geniuses has invented a fax app yet, at least none that I've heard of.

Now if only there were a hot-cup-of-coffee-on-demand-no-matter-where-you-are app, my smartphone experience would be complete.

Yeah... fax is also becoming passe'. All scanning nowadays.

I haven't seen 40 for a little over two decades, LOL, but occupational requirements have included staying at least a little bit in shape and I enjoy hiking, sailing, hunting and camping, anything that'll get me out of sight and hearing of large cities and towns for periods of time.

Then there must be some scanning apps, seeing as phones have cameras, QR and barcode scanners, and I have an app that identifies plants, trees and flowers, that will copy and email documents.

I've done that with my ancient AIO printer, but never really looked into doing it via smartphone.

At my age, I'm starting to feel like I've been somehow morphed into a permanent Jetsons movie.

Turn 65 in August. Round is a shape, right? I still get around pretty good but don't ever think I'll ride bulls and broncs again. Been camping a few times. There was a relative that had some land in the Big Black River area in MS. Had to go through eight locked gates for twenty miles to get to their place, sunshine had to be piped in. A small cabin with a rainwater well and surrounded by miles of forest and swamp. It's a very fond memory of mine. J. Paul Getty owned all the surrounding land and gates. But he had to furnish a key to the relative who would never sell his little piece of heaven to him. If I ever robbed a stagecoach that was where I was going to hide out.

That does sound like a piece of heaven.

When I lived in New Orleans years ago, I spent some time exploring some of the bayou parishes, had friends who'd grown up in the bayous and two who still lived on their properties out there. I still have great memories of those times.

There you go, teasing them, now all they will think about is where they can get diving helmets. It will be a run on diving helmets and actual antique diving equipment collectors may find it hard to find the gear they need to complete their collection. I am going to blame you and tell them they need to complain to you when they can't find that perfect helmet to showcase.

I think the news that Iger and Disney bought Fox us not accurate. They bought Fox entertainment, which is their movies and TV business. Fox news is a totally separate business from 21st century Fox. Murdoch would be crazy to sell his news business, it's a cash cow. He didn't get rich by making dumb moves.

I have DISH as my provider. I can’t getOAN. Any ideas?

Since I dropped my cable I get OANN on Roku for $5.99 a month. Also I noticed a couple of days ago that they are offering their programing on Klowdtv for $4.99 a month, look on the upper right corner of their web page. And it's also available here for free but video is not so great. https://vaughn.live/american_news

That is what I have been trying to tell them since they started freaking out, perhaps some have come to understand.
