The Tibetans are finished. I once had dinner in the house of a family of a student whose father was headmaster at a school for Tibetan youth--2000 miles from Tibet. They entered the school aged six or so, and left upon graduation at 18 or so. After graduation, they could return to Tibet, completely sinocized, where they were able to see their parents again for the first time in twelve years.
