There is this regressive soy boy philosophy now ingrained on the Prog leftists.

If a white man shows even a hint of testosterone in his delivery of speech, he is castigated as a bigot or racist...this also goes for the people of color who stand on the Right.

The blacks are proclaimed as "Uncle Tom's" and worse.

Anything or Anybody who is fighting to save this Constitutional Republic is boldly spewed by the left as a hater.

National pride is condemned as just a white thing, it is not!

I understand how you feel...I feel the same way. Lately, I have gotten tired of being called names for trying to debate on OPP. I'm on the side that you are accusing. I have never posted an anti leftist thread to stir up trouble. The left does this all the time. It's funny to me that when I present facts, the other person gets triggered and smarts off or just ignores me. This has happened when I defended Christianity to someone who knew nothing about it, when I challenged a climate change anti-Trumper on facts that weren't facts at all, and when I tried to debate antagonistic threads by Roman Catholics ( usually titled something like...For All You Catholic Haters), and like you, I'm a little tired of it.
However, I don't usually see conservatives throwing out insults on a first is worst basis, but in response to insults thrown AT them, such as has happened to me.
After being insulted over Catholic priests molesting kids ( called me a moronic idiot)and a liberal woman telling someone to mind their own business and stay out of a private conversation on an OPEN forum, I lost it and used foul language and received a 3 day suspension. I won't go into the examinations I did on myself. I intend to NOT insult anybody ever again on OPP.
I also get ignored. As a matter of fact, you and I had a private conversation going and I asked you to answer just one question and you never responded again. (Not meant as an insult)
MY point is, yes, I'm tired of the insults and cartoons and name calling, but it's 80/40 generated on your side of things.
The majority of insults thrown at liberals is due to long experience with people, such as Kevyn, who will start a thread with the most bizarre statements, unprovable and easily debunked. It is tiresome.
I wish both side would return to a debate status, but I won't ask conservatives to stop the insults after they have BEEN insulted.

What you fail to take into consideration is that Trump steps into it all, he has shown that he is dishonest, he favors the most despicable world leaders over his own intelligence community, he fosters contempt for our legislators, he fosters contempt for our journalists ESPECIALLY when they report the truth, he is immature, thin skinned (takes offense to anything not pro-Trump even if it is satire or skits on SNL), he doesn't have a clue how to BE president, he shows us nearly daily that he is a moron and He has even shown contempt for many of our own servicemen and servicewomen. He is the LEAST presidential president we have EVER had. If he wasn't going to take the job seriously, he never should have run. He hasn't even tried to act presidential since he has taken office, he doesn't put in the work necessary to even be taken seriously. A president should, if he doesn't know something, ask others, do some research or at least be willing to take the advice or expertise of those around him. A good president should NOT make their ignorance known by making stupid comments among world leaders so that they can all get a good laugh at our expense.

If Trump weren't such a bad president, I would like to think that EVERYONE would give him the respect that the office should be entitled to, the Republicans because he is their pick for president, the Democrats because he is treating the job as he should (even if they don't like his policies) and those not affiliated with any party would hopefully respect him because he isn't making America look stupid and/or corrupt.
