There are two Democratic parties now.

Alex Oca- Cortez is creating 2020 GoP voters out of alienated Democrats who will doubtless vote for Trump defending the current economy and status quo.

Was that ocario cortez' plan all along? to create a libertarian- left new party that worshipped her as its leader?

How come we don't hear a peep from congresspersons Occasional Cortex' district voters on all her messages and actions ?

Actualy what she is going to do is energize young new voters who are significantly more progressive than many Americans. SInce she is running in only her district she will have little effect on centerest democrats who hate Trump and will not support him regardless of who runs against him. As far as Americans in general compare the support of the Green New Deal to the support for Trumpty Dumptys wall and it will give you a good idea of what the republicans will be facing in 2020.

What the 2020 elections will show is just how hard left the US is turning or if in fact it is continuing to turn to the right and become strong again under the leadership of President Trump. I'm betting on continuing to turn back time and become great once more.

That entire proposal is a study in insanity! It looks like it was created by someone intent of showing how stupid people can be and made to follow crazy ideas!

None of those are part of the green deal it is just scare tactics cooked up by coal and oil company propagandists. The green deal actualy suggests eventually replacing internal combustion cars with electric cars, upgrading inter city rail lines with high speed electric trains eliminating the need for many short haul air flights. And replacing aging coal generation plants with carbon neutral sources like geo thermal solar and wind. The living wage aspect will lift many out of poverty and off government assistance which is essentially corporate welfare to corporations that do not compensate their employees fairly.
