If you're not better off, you must have invested everything in Solendra. Never bet on Obama. The bottom line: if progressives are unhappy that is good! If Conservatives are happy that too is good. Conclusion: everything is good!

Now, one day they will discover all the still standing rules left open from the Patriot act and its off spring..

The "emergency" could just be the opening of the box, once they remember all the rule that we were assured "those will never be used against Americans" that have existed all these years..

Long day for some old guy, 5 more inches of snow and more coming on the week end.. February is indeed a very long month..

I am about the same as 8 or 10 years ago. I moved my IRA portfolio to the safe/low risk side about 2003 or so and has hardly changed. No for the bad and not for the good.. low return, no risk..

The govt program which guaranteed the Solendra loans, over the succeeding years made many millions of dollars for America... Solendra management should have gone to prison. think one person did for a few months or maybe I am confused with Enron..

The unhappy liberals that I know are concerned with the destruction of govt and laws..

The economy should be OK for some more months but is showing the future correction/downturn. the cash gift has about run its course, the tariffs and trade wars are having an effect which will grow..

Much more negative economic news than good.. but it could still be continued if a few changes get worked out.

But other then the end of the world, little is apt to affect me.. so I am looking at seed and planning a garden patch... Just for me,, course the wife wants to grow with her entire garden club on our place.. darn..

So have a nice morning with that eastern sunrise view.. sound great.. gnight..

I do miss being able to garden. We grew better gardens in Wyoming than here in the Florida Panhandle. I expect it was much like your own area; shorter growing season but longer daylight hours. Sigh! It was 80° here today. Dog and I both porch Sat!
